During flood events, waterways transport large quantities of woody debris such as logs and branches, which can create critical issues for infrastructures, navigation, and the environment. RC Trunks is designed to intercept and channel these materials in a controlled way, simplifying their management and reducing emergency interventions.
RC Trunks: Interception and Conveyance System
RC Trunks is a floating barrier installed transversely across the waterway, designed to divert debris flow toward a dedicated collection point along the riverbank. The configuration allows part of the river to remain open for navigation while materials are progressively concentrated in an accessible area for removal. The system is also effective for submerged materials up to approximately 2 meters deep, ensuring reliable performance even under complex hydraulic conditions.
