Covid 19 and plastic
In Europe finally, after long months of forced closure caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have the opportunity to move again with fewer restrictions.
This regained freedom, however, must not make us forget good manners and common sense. As we have already seen and seen, unfortunately, the correct disposal of safety equipment, such as masks and gloves, is not being respected by everyone, which has a negative impact on the environment.
River cleaning: the right choice
The lock-down caused a sharp economic slowdown with major repercussions in many sectors. Investing in a real and structured project such as River Cleaning, now more than ever, is a strong message for a new start and a choice to protect the future.
The rivers bring 80% of plastic and microplastic waste to the seas around the world. The Mediterranean Sea is one of the seas most polluted by microplastics, although the rivers that most spill plastics into the sea are Asian.
The need to stop the race of plastic towards the sea, and the need to reuse this precious material, are two imperatives for all of us.
River Cleaning has embraced these two principles and is looking for strong partners who are willing to make a real difference to the Planet.
Safeguarding the future
To start again by investing in the protection of the environment and the territory is a necessary choice to prevent other major pandemics and environmental disasters caused by human activities. Mobilizing now, without wasting any more time, is the right choice for the protection of the future.
